Product Description Just press the ignition button and the Blazer Micro Torch fires up with an instant flame that endures for up to two hours, depending on the size flame used. The adjustable gas volume delivers a fixed or variable flame with a maximum length of 100mm (+20mm). Needle valves control temperature settings up to 2350 degrees F (1288 C). Shipped unfilled, this hand torch has a tank capacity of 26 grams (1.58 fluid ounces) and uses any multiple head butane gas lighter refill. Equipped with a removable stand for hands-free operation , the 1 3/8" diameter tank is made of non-corrosive chrome plated brass, and is cushioned with a grid patterned rubber grip for firmness, safety, and ease of handling. Hot stuff August 30, 2010 terribea Love this little guy for quick flame-on, do a job, and off in less time than it takes to turn on my tank for the other torch. One-handed is nice!
Best Torch for the price August 25, 2010 Mango Probably the best torch out there! Nice feel and weight, and the adjustable flame size and amount is perfect for a ton of uses. Couldn't be happier with the price of this torch!
Great Torch! May 12, 2010 Claylady in Chester 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have been taking a PMC jewelry class for the past two years, but was always afraid to use a torch to fire my jewelry pieces, that is until my instructor did a demo with her Blazer Micro Torch. I tried it and liked the self-igniting feature and the fact that you did not have to keep pressure on the trigger to keep it running. She suggested that I check on Amazon.com as she had gotten her torch from Amazon. I did and found it to be less expensive and got free shipping also. What a great deal. I have been using it for about one month, and I love it. I have just finished a necklace of fused pure silver links and my Blazer did all the work. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

Torch is perfect for soldering and annealing small metal jewelry components. Easy to handle and does not intimidate even the beginning metal worker.
9 months and still a great torch March 9, 2010 A.B. (Maryland, USA) I have had this torch for 9 months and put over 400g of butane thru it. So far it works great. I have used it for anything from lighting cigars to carmalizing creme brulee. It puts out an excellent adjustable flame and usally lights on the first try. Occasionally I need to make sure the valve knob screw is tight. It tends to work loose after a while. Like any other tool you need to maintain it.
